Meilleure société de transport en Amérique du Nord en 2010, la Société de Transport de Montréal (STM) atteint dernièrement des résultats impressionants. Entre 2006 et 2009, celle-ci a augmenté le nombre de passages de bus et de métro de 18,5% et a atteint un taux de satisfaction de la clientèle de 86%. Or, la STM a pris un engagement ferme envers le développement durable et celui-ci se manifeste, entre autres, par la manière de former les employés et de mesurer les progrès avec la plus grande transparence possible. Bref, elle veut devenir un leader dans ce domaine. Ainsi, pour l’ouverture du vins et fromages de la semaine de l’environnement, Michel Labrecque, directeur de la STM, élaborera sur les nouveaux défi s et sur le plan de transport participatif pour 2020 de la STM. Un véritable cocktail de transport durable sera au rendez-vous !
